Are your products new or factory reconditioned? Products sold on this E-Commerce site are mostly brand new and that is our first preference in obtaining new products. However, due to product availability, we do have some electronic products that are factory reconditioned. Factory reconditioned products are identified either by a (R) or the words "reconditioned" or "refurbished" in the product description or at the bottom of the product listing.. Can you explain the meaning of factory reconditioned or refurbished products? Factory reconditioned or refurbished prodcts are simply products returned by customers. Customers return products for various reasons; a customer may return a product simply because he or she did not like it, a change of mind, a defect, or it was difficult for them to operate. Whether someone just opened the box and returned it the very next day or 30 days later, such an item must be classified as reconditioned or refurbished to be resold. Every product targeted for reconditioning or refurbishing must pass a thorough examination. The product is tested to meet quality specifications and conditioned by the manufacturer or a reputable outside professional firm to return the product to like new condition. After repairing any defect and sanitizing when necessary, the product is repackaged. Some refurbished items come with a 90-day manufacturer warranty. However, most new items have at least 1- year warranty.
Will factory recoditioned products come in different packaging? Product packaging must state, by law, if an item is factory reconditioned. Packaging and terminology may differ slightly with each retailer. Some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that it is reconditioned, refurbished or factory serviced; and some items may come repackaged in a plain brown or white box. Enclosed manual may refer to accessories (camera cases, straps and ect. . . . for example) that are not included with the reconditioned product. Be sure to read over the product information page for a list of included accessories.
What makes reconditioned or refurbished products such an excellent purchase? Prices for reconditioned or refurbished products are much lower than at retail and still continue to maintain high quality standards. Each item is checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality. In fact, reconditioned products have a very low (2 percent) cost of returns.
Is the furniture sold on this site refurbished or brand new? All furniture marketed on this site are brand new. It is not purchased through a wholesaler, but is order directly from the furniture manufacturer.
What type of material is used in the furniture construction? Our furniture peices are made of various materials: marble tops, hard wood solids, fine hardwood veneers, 100% leather, leather match and plush materials. Do you carry other item(s) that are not listed on the website? Yes, we have hundreds of items that are available but are not listed. If you are interested in a particualr item, please enquire about it to customer service and we will advise if it is available. Is there a way to view the item in person? No, we do not carry inventory. Inventory is a costly overhead expense that impacts the prices of the product. We purchase directly from the manufacturer or wholesaler when the order is placed. That is part of our online strategy that allows us to deliver quality products at low prices. How do you make a purchase? Simply go to the catalogue section or click on the available links and select the products you would like to purchase. In the quantity section indicate the number of items you would like to purchase. Then click on "Add to Cart". If there are other products you like, continue to repeat the process and Add to Cart. There is no need to be concerned about bidding or winning an auction because these incredible low prices are "Buy It Now" prices. If no other product is desired, proceed to the highly secured 128 bit encrypted Checkout section. In the Checkout section you have the option to update the order quantity. Afterwards, complete the billing and mailing information and then click "Next". Residence in North Carolina needs to add 7% sales tax and California residence needs to add 8.25% sales tax if the purchase is not furniture. Also shipping charges need to be added; shipping charges are based upon the terms and ship to location. Fill out the credit card information and then click on "Purchase". Congratulations! At this point your transaction is complete.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders and Cashier Checks. If paying by money order or cashier check, product will not ship until monies have cleared. Please do not send cash. Please allow 2 to 6 weeks for furniture orders to ship.
Do you accept Pay Pal? No.
Who are responsible for sale tax? NC and CA residence are assessed a sales tax at the point of purchased.
Is there a shipping charge? Yes, shipping charges are based upon the shipping terms and ship to location.
What is the return policy for furniture?
Customers have a grace period of six days to cancel their order. After the grace period, customers are obligated to complete the purchase. Customers will be charged a 20% restocking fee for returned merchandise, in addition to the cost to receive the merchandise from the manufacturer. Before furniture can be returned, the customer must obtain a (RMA#) Return Merchandise Authorization from G & P Investment Properties, LLC either by sending an email to cs@gnpproperties.com or calling 1-866-214-2721.
Do electronics and other related merchandise have a return policy different than furniture? Yes.
What is your return policy for electronics? All returns/exchanges, except for furniture, must be made within 14 days of receipt of the merchandise. Furniture has its' own return policy so please make sure you see it. After 14 days, merchandise with Manufacturer Warranty that exceeds 30 days may be returned directly to the manufacturer according to their instructions. The merchandise must be in original factory condition, and must include all original packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. If an item has a manufacturer defect, please return the defected product and we will promptly ship you a replacement. Items returned as defective that are found not to be defective will incur a 20% restocking fee for the returned unit. Therefore, we suggest contacting the manufacturer as listed in your owners manual for support prior to requesting a return authorization. Unwanted product returns without a manufacturer defect will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returned merchandise is reimbursed for the original purchase price less shipping & handling and must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #). Refunds will not be issued if a return is made without an RMA number. Returns without a valid RMA number will be refused and the package will go back to the sender.
How do you return an item? Please contact customer service by email at cs@gnpproperties.com to notify us of the defected product and request a RMA number. Please, allow 72 hours to respond to your email. The warehouse must receive all returns within 14 days from the RMA issuing date. Refunds will not be issued if a return is made without an RMA number or after 14 days of delivery of the order. When you return the item, please include a copy of your order confirmation email and write your RMA number on it along with a return reason. Returns must be in like new condition. Returns will not be accepted without all of the original packaging, manuals and accessories. Shipping charges are not refundable. We recommend returns be made via FedEx insured freight only. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage items in return transit. Please, allow up to 6 business days to process your returns. You are responsible for all freight charges.
